Ever wanted a say in the NHS? Now is your chance! Help Healthwatch Rutland to help us all. The government is giving extra money to the National Health Service to improve healthcare and are devising a 10 year plan to begin in 2020. Healthwatch is already a national voice for people on all aspects of health and social care and so have been tasked with feeding people’s opinions and ideas into the process. They are asking for as many people as possible to complete a survey ‘what-would-you-do’ either through the following link – www.healthwatch.co.uk/what-would-you-do-general or there are paper copies in Oakham and Whissendine churches. In addition, if you have a long-term condition such as heart or lung disease, diabetes, mental health disorder, arthritis, cancer, or other, you can use an alternative link www.healthwatch.co.uk/tell-us-what-would-you-do. The information needs to sent asap as the survey results are being assessed from mid-May. Further information can also be obtained from Leila Mars, Healthwatch Rutland Officer (01572 720381).
