We rely on the generosity of many people living in Rutland. During 2017 we have had more clients than previously, and this is not going to change. Universal…
The Friends Coffee Morning on Friday 13 September, on behalf of The Lodge Trust, was very well attended and a most convivial occasion it turned out to be. There will be a stall selling Fairtrade goods after the Harvest Festival service in St Andrew’s on Sunday 6 October. Please remember to take some extra money to church that day.

During this period we ask everyone to be vigilant in case of attempted roof…
By now many of you will know that Michael Hinman died during the night of Tuesday 20 August. It has come as a shock to us all, especially as Michael was still so active. We don’t yet know for certain the reason for his sudden decline in health. On Sunday 18 August he led intercessions at the 10.30am service and led and…

Every year the Friends of All Saints visit Tolethorpe Hall to watch one of the Stamford Shakespeare Company’s productions. This year around twenty of us saw Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit. The play is a send-up of the sort of belief in spiritualism that was popular between the world wars, when people understandably wished that they could get in contact with relatives who…
